John 10:10 states: “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have LIFE, and that they might have it more abundantly.” Athletes LIVE to win championships. Authors LIVE to create that one life’s work. Artists LIVE to create that one amazing masterpiece. But what do you live for? Perhaps today you don’t feel as if you have anything to live for; you’re just existing. Or even worse, you feel as if you’re dying. We must remember that the devil is the king of discouragement. I remember thinking I am dying to finish high school and start college. Then I was dying to finish college and start working. Then I was dying to marry and have children. And one day I will just die. We do not need to forget to live.

When worshiping Jesus becomes our all-consuming passion, it becomes the life-giving force behind ALL we do. Worship is to become a lifestyle of loving Jesus. Remember, Jesus is the one who gives us life! First John 5:12 reminds us: “He that hath the Son hath LIFE; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.” True living starts by doing what you were created to do–worship Jesus! I don’t know about you, but I do not want to be out praised by a “rock” (Luke 19:40). We were made to live for Him. Try it; you will discover just how fulfilling this LIFE can be. LIFE with Jesus is an incredible adventure.
