In Proverbs 3:5,6 we read, “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  In all thy ways, acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”  Just a few verses later, we read, “Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase.  So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine” (Proverbs 3:9, 10).
