Amy Vassak is the wife of Pastor Joe Vassak. The Vassaks met in Bible college and have been married for thirty years. They serve the Lord at Northeast Baptist Church in Danbury, CT, which they started on September 11, 1994. They have three married children who are all serving the Lord today, and one grandson. The Vassaks are a singing family and have recorded a beautifully produced and orchestrated music cd titled, Long Time Comin’. Amy grew up in a broken home and has a burden for young people who are growing up the same way. She has written a book to help them heal from the effects of divorce. It is called Dealing With My Family’s Divorce. Amy is a conference speaker, a counselor, the Music Coordinator at their church, a choir member, her husband’s secretary, and has taught a high school girl’s Sunday School class for twenty-seven years.
Mrs. Amy Sapp is wife of Chad Sapp, a youth leader in St. Louis, Missouri. She is also the mother to three awesome Sapplings: Abby, Luke and Logan. She is an encouraging ladies’ conference speaker and a representative for Faith Music Missions. She works on a church bus route and teaches a youth girl’s Sunday School class. She loves homeschooling her children, showing others how to have joy and just having FUN! Also, she hosts the Helpers of Joy program on Faith Music Radio.
In 2015, it was ascertained that she had the BRCA1 Cancer Gene. This discovery radically changed her life. It is an ongoing battle in her life but she has made it her mission to spreading God’s joy everywhere she goes. She is now helping others help others have joy as well.
